Hey! I'm Harry 👋 A Professional Drum Teacher with 6+ years of experience, originally from Bath and currently based in Bristol. I began playing when I was 9 years old, after being fascinated by a drummer I watched on TV one early morning as a kid: since then I have loved the drums and have been playing ever since for 20+ years.
At the age of 17 in 2013, I made the decisive choice to pursue a career in drumming, that ultimately led to earning a scholarship to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. My time there exposed me to a diverse array of musical styles, compelling me to cultivate and refine a comprehensive set of skills through consistent practice to meet the demands of various genres.
Additionally, a chance encounter sparked a deep interest in Latin percussion, prompting me to embark on a journey to Cuba for percussion studies and, at a later date, take a Samba course in Rio de Janeiro.
Since 2022, my main focus has been music education and on top of the work that I do, I create online content for drummers on YouTube and I have a course designed specifically for people new to drumming called The Fundamentals of Drumming
